How Zaviamo Started

I tried to take my family to Turkey.

Found a "top" agency in Karachi. 7-day, 6-night package. Istanbul, Cappadocia, Antalya. Standard stuff.

I asked for an extra day in Cappadocia. My wife wanted to see the hot air balloons without rushing. "The package doesn't allow that."

I asked about halal restaurants for the kids. A shrug. "There are restaurants everywhere."

I asked what happens if we need help at night. "Office hours are 10 to 6."

I paid anyway. What choice did I have?

The hotel got switched. Not the one in the photos. A different one, different area. "Same category, sir."

After payment? Silence.

I came back frustrated. Talked to Rahat about it. My wife. She'd spent years at Qatar Airways. She knew the travel and airline industry from the inside: how flights connect, how operators cut corners that travelers never see, how the whole chain works behind the curtain.

She said something I couldn't shake: "They're not in the travel business. They're in the reselling business."

That conversation became Zaviamo.

I'm not a travel industry veteran. I'm a business builder who loves travel and got burned by the system. That frustration is why Zaviamo exists. I'm the person you'll talk to when you reach out. I'm the one who'll ask what your kids eat, what time they wake up, and whether your parents need a room on a lower floor. I build the business. Rahat builds the trips.

Former Qatar Airways professional. Rahat knows the travel and aviation industry from the inside. Flights, layovers, airport logistics, airline partnerships, operator relationships. The knowledge that makes a trip work smoothly? That comes from years of doing it professionally, not from reading brochures. Before Zaviamo, I spent over 18 years working in customer experience and technology — building systems focused on clarity, simplicity, and solving real problems. Alongside my professional career, travel has always been a personal passion.

I've been traveling for business and leisure for nearly two decades. Istanbul, Dubai, Baku, London, New York, Bangkok, Saudi Arabia—I've experienced firsthand what makes a trip amazing and what makes it frustrating.

What I learned:
  • The best trips aren't the most expensive—they're the most thoughtful

  • Small details matter (hotel location, meal timing, pace)

  • Technology should make travel easier, not more confusing

  • Personal service beats automated systems every time

I spent years working in customer service with airlines, helping thousands of passengers navigate flights, handle issues, and make their journeys smoother. I also lived in Qatar for several years, which gave me a deep understanding of different cultures, travel logistics, and what it takes to make people feel comfortable far from home.

What I learned:

  • Communication is everything—especially when things go wrong

  • Every traveler has unique needs that deserve attention

I bring industry expertise and a deep understanding of customer service. I work directly with clients—especially families, honeymooners, and first-time travelers—to design experiences that match their needs perfectly.

I'm also the person who answers your "silly questions" (they're never silly) like:

  • • "What should I pack for Turkey in March?"
  • • "Will my elderly mother be able to walk to the hotel from Haram?"
  • • "Can we get halal food in Azerbaijan?"

I LOVE these questions because they show you care about getting it right. And so do we.

Step 1: You tell us what you want.

  • Fill out the form on our site or just WhatsApp us directly. We'll ask you the questions that matter: dietary needs, pace preferences, budget range, must-see spots, travel style.

  • No judgment. If your budget is tight, we'll tell you what's possible. If your expectations don't match the destination, we'll be honest about that too.

Step 2: We research and build.

  • We don't pull an itinerary off a shelf. We contact our ground partners. We check real-time availability. We cross-reference hotel reviews. We factor in your family's pace, your kids' ages, your parents' mobility.

  • This takes time. Usually 2-3 days for a detailed itinerary. Because doing it right isn't fast.
